Connecting PC to internet using Samsung Android Mobile

As like Nokia Ovi Suite, Samsung got its own mobile suite software Kies. This has got a lot of function like managing the gallery, updating the firmware in phone to syncing the entire phone with the pc. This post only focuses on using the mobile as modem to connect to internet. Changing a mobile into a Wifi Hotspot is one option, but this wont work unless a Wifi port is available in PC. This method need only USB port and data cable for the Android mobile.

• Download the mobile suite software form here. 
• Install the KIES software in your PC.
• Connect the mobile to PC .
• Goto Settings in your mobile, select Network then USB tethering.

Its all set. Now the PC easily identifies the THUNDERBIRD BCM21553 device. The driver for the same device is bundled with KIES package. So connect to internet using Samsung mobiles.
